More About Me

I advise governments and development agencies on poverty reduction through financial inclusion. I have done this across Africa, Asia, The Middle East and The Caribbean. My focus is on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of cash transfer programmes, and ensuring that the needs of recipients are understood and met. I have worked with both social protection and humanitarian programmes.

I write and research to inform and explain. I write about the latest developments in G2P (government- to-person) payment systems. I research delivery systems in order to construct case studies. I gather evidence to construct new models and approaches to drive financial inclusion through social payments. I write about poor women and how best to help them.

I teach to inspire and inform programme implementers and policy makers. I explain the benefits and pitfalls of digitising payment delivery systems. I share best practices and lessons learnt from common mistakes. I engage and inform through compelling presentations.
